Music track lyrics

Music track I've choosen
The song I've chosen for my music video is Survival by Muse. I've decided to use this track, because the song is every energetic and upbeat. Along with very good vocals and instrumentals. In short this could combine to gain a large number of potential to do a music video on this song.
In terms of music videos for rock music, these are some of the conventions that can be found. One being that the band or singer that performs the song will be present in the video. The most popular convention of this genre, will be that the artist will perform in the video; whether it'd be as a musician or an actor playing a part. Also the imagery will reflect the tone in some way. For example a more dark song will have a more darker colour palate; while a more light hearted song will have a brighter colour scheme. Finally the editing to a rock music video will be at a very fast pace, depending on the pace of the song, or a particular section of the song.

Advertising styles and forms Presentation (Draft one)
The style of this advertisement is a comedic style. We can tell this by the fact that the ad's main character is blowing up traffic lights and other modern day inconveniences; all while the advert has some very upbeat and care free music playing through out the whole advert. One of the techniques used by the advertisement is overt messages. Such as the message of: have fun by playing our game. The target audience for this product are males in their 20s and older. But also the ad features a more hidden message of men will be able to get women attracted to them if they use that body wash. The target audience is for both men and women. We can tell this due to how the main actor directly addresses the female viewers. But also the ad mentions how their man can smell better with this brand of body wash.
In this advertisement we can see that the video is made in a serious style, doesn't go overlay dramatic like some other advertisements The advert also promises some reward power to the viewer, by promising that: their room, house or other place they want to paint will look good after using their paint to decorate it.
